Where to eat in Plaka

Eat and drink in Plaka at Brettos, a bar and liquor shop on Kydathineon since 1909, at the Platanos taverna on Diogenous, or on two hotel roofs that face the Acropolis. The Electra Roof Garden serves 13:00–00:30, and the Thea Terrace restaurant on the Central Hotel 16:30–23:00. For something sweet, Klepsidra serves Greek yoghurt and home-made desserts, and Glykis is a traditional kafeneio for coffee and tsipouro.
