What the partner links are

Some pages include clearly labelled partner links to guided activities on Viator and GetYourGuide, hotel property pages on Agoda and Booking.com, and car-rental comparisons on Booking.com Cars. If you book through one, Athens Guide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Paid links open on the partner's site, are marked rel="sponsored nofollow", and use the partner's own live prices, availability, terms, cookies, and privacy policy.

Some stay guides also offer a click-to-load Stay22 hotel map. Nothing is requested from Stay22 until you choose to open the map; after that, its third-party availability, cookies, and privacy terms apply.

Stay22 has two distinct surfaces. On an exact set of eligible editorial pages, LMA may load automatically when the page opens; on the Where To Stay guide, the separate hotel Map remains unloaded until you choose Check live prices. Both use Stay22's third-party processing and may generate a commission at no extra cost to you.

How we keep it honest

• Affiliate links never influence which places we recommend or how we order them. Recommendations are an editorial judgment, not a paid product.
• Every guide is written to be fully useful even if you never click a booking link.
• Hotel choices and their editorial order are selected before partner buttons are added; commission rates do not decide which hotels appear.
• Stay22 is a wider live-availability map, not an endorsement of every property it displays.
• Partner activities are guided tours, not official ticket desks — we say so on every card and link the official source separately.
• Affiliate sections appear only where a booking genuinely fits the page, never woven into the editorial text.

Before you book

For hotels, confirm the exact property, room, final total, taxes, payment timing, and cancellation terms on the partner page. For activities and cars, confirm meeting points, inclusions, licence or insurance requirements, weather rules, and cancellation terms. Athens Guide is not the booking desk and does not receive your personal booking details.
