Ways to get there

  1. Metro

Metro Line 3 to the airport

The airport is about 42 minutes away on trains marked Airport, which run every 36 minutes. The airport section needs its own €9 ticket (€16 return); the €1.20 ticket of 90 minutes does not cover it. Check STASY's current Line 3 timetable before an evening airport trip. Its dated works notice covered 11–15 and 18–22 October 2026, when late direct trains were curtailed and the temporary X20 linked Ambelokipi with Halandri. Do not plan around X20 or the 21:06/21:10 last-through times without a current operator notice. The X95 from Syntagma is an all-night alternative.

  5. Metro

    Step-free access at Monastiraki station

The station has lifts and an adapted toilet. On Line 1, wheelchair users board by the first door of the first carriage; at Monastiraki the gap to the train is large, so ask the station staff for a portable ramp.
