Psyrri area guide

Things to do in Psyrri

Psyrri's sights are a short walk apart, from Iroon Square, laid out in 1850 with a marble fountain, to Kerameikos, 7 minutes from Thissio station. Kerameikos, the cemetery of ancient Athens, costs €10 and opens daily 08:00–18:00 until 31 October and 08:00–15:00 from 1 November to 31 March. Near the square, a dome in the Archdiocese Library shows the Byzantine church of Agia Eleousa. The two synagogues on Melidoni Street are rarely open, but the Holocaust Memorial stands at the corner.
