Questions before you go

Which parking zone is my street in?

Zone 2 is the eastern side, from Kolonaki Square out to Gennadiou and Souidias streets; zone 3 is the western side, with Dexameni Square, down to Panepistimiou. Koumbari Street is on the line between them. The visitor rules are the same in both: three hours at most in a white bay.

What do three hours cost?

€6 in a white visitor bay if you find one, and €6 at Polis Park Rizari, which charges €2 an hour. The Concert Hall garage gives two different prices for its first three hours on its own pages, so check at the entrance.

Is street parking charged on Sundays?

To Vima reported in September 2026 that the visitor bays are not charged on Sundays and public holidays. Blue resident bays apply at all hours, and the garages charge every day.

Can I drive up Lycabettus?

The summit restaurant's site says a path of 5 to 10 minutes leads to the summit from the Lycabettus Theatre car park, but gives no hours or prices for that car park. Otherwise take the funicular from Aristippou Street.
